I use these to sharpen my wood mill bandsaw. They do a pretty good job but wear out a little to quickly ,not the harder stone I am used to using.

This is a great value, and these grinding stones work just great. i used one to sharpen my trimmer blade no issues.

I purchased this to grind steel garden tools. It does not grind the steel; the stone quickly gums up with steel and then only generates heat but with no grinding effect. It may be useful on other materials.
