A must have when blending stainless, 4150/4140, or 7000 series aluminum parts on different pistol/ rifle platforms. WILL take hardened metals down, so start at a lower RPM without to much pressure until you feel how they perform. They wear out quickly, so a pack like this is the best option. During operation, move slowly and consistently in the opposite direction that it is spinning. It takes a finess to keep metal south and even without any low/ high spots. Also, wear safety glasses and use over a surface that can be swept or vacuumed after you finish. And remember: you can always take material away, but if you go too far, there are only a couple options that may or may not fix your problem. Slow and steady, and use hav hand tools at the last few millimeters.

I’m still discovering all the uses. I do like them for polishing. My only issue is they have a very strong oder to them.

I got these to help remove solder mask from old computer cards and boards to repair them. These work, but the rubber leaves a lot of debris behind. It was worth a try and I will use it in a pinch, but not my first choice.

The rubber comes off the metal post quickly. I used it to grind down fine rust on the car hood. As this bulk pack is well priced, I did not mind going through 6 pieces for one hood.
