Universal Fit Flat Free Wheelbarrow Tire is made of solid polyurethane foam. This tire replaces the following tire sizes: 3.50/2.50-8", 4.00-6", and 4.80/4.00-8". No flat tires have the same bounce, feel, cushion, and performance as pneumatic (air-filled) tires. They are also non-marking and will not be affected by Ozone or UV rays. Airless Tires are made of lightweight, solid polyurethane foam and are guaranteed to never go flat. Tire is 14.5" in diameter, comes standard with a 3" centered hub and 5/8" Ball Bearings. It’s a little bit narrow for my taste though I’m pretty sure that’s my fault. Over all it seems to be holding up well holds its shape pretty well.

I was tired of flat tires on my small garden tractor trailer and these are a good fit. I have loaded the trailer with a few hundred pounds of soil many time and no issues with the tires. The hubs come preloaded with 5/8 bearings but also include a set of 3/4 inch bearings. I removed the 5/8 bearings with a hammer and large screwdriver as a punch and tapped in the larger bearings. A bit of work but not too bad. The bearings are not greased and the bearings and hubs should be filled with grease. The hubs did have grease fitting which is great.

Need a tire for the wheelbarrow, tired of dealing with flats? This Marathon Universal does the trick.Solid rubber wheel fits my wheelbarrow perfectly. I installed it in 10 minutes: unbolt the old axle frame(my has 2 bolts), slide off the old wheel from the axle bar, put on the new and use provided spacers if needed, and reattached axle frame- get rolling. Works great.My only proviso- the rubber wheel has only a tiny bit of give unlike the original air inflated tire; moreover, the hard, rubber wheel is a tad smaller than an inflated tire. So, you don't get that nice bounce going over curbs and edges. It's more of a 'THUD' but, at least, I don't get flats which was a constant problem out here in the high prairie,

I had been looking for replacement tires to fit on a Jackson model 100 garden cart. The cart was old and replacement tires/wheels were hard to find. The old tires had rotted away and the wheels were rusty. The description said these were universal and could be adapted to go on a 5/8 or 3/4 axle. It also came with spacers to be able to adjust the offset of the wheel. The came w/ the 5/8 bearings installed, but they were easy to pop out according to instructions. And the 3/4 bearings popped right in easily when following instructions. They worked perfectly and will not go flat because I chose the foam filled tires that do not need air. Well worth the extra 4 or 5 bucks! Thee are great and came with all the extra hardware I needed them to to customize the application. Very happy !

I’ve had my wheelbarrow for years, and most of the time I’ve had it I’ve struggled with the tire. I finally gave up and let it sit, and began using my wagon more. The only problem with that was that it took multiple trips to clear pruning debris from my property. I longed to have my wheelbarrow back but didn’t want to spend as much on a wheel as I spent on the whole wheelbarrow! When I saw this inexpensive wheel that said it fit a lot of different size wheelbarrows, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. The day after delivery I came home to a functioning wheelbarrow, thanks to my hubby. He said it couldn’t have been easier to put on due to all the adapters that came with the kit! The next day, I hauled potted plants all day and the wheel (and my wheelbarrow) performed flawlessly! I’m a happy gardener once more!

I only use my wheelbarrow a half dozen times a year (if that). The irritation of needing to inflate the tire EVERY time was a big motivator Install / replacement was easy. Irritation is now goneFYI, the wheel has a zerk fitting for greasing the axle bearing - I got rid of my last grease gun may 20 years ago. I 'pre-greased' everything just by hand packing the bearings with a popsicle stick before installing this on the axle.

This replacement tire is perfect for my wheelbarrow that has a 3/4" axle. Other replacements I found were only good for 5/8" axle but this one has fittings for both sizes. The tire is very sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. Excellent purchase.

Seems ok for now.I had to knock out the existing bearing and use one of the included bushings. Follow the instructions which help but it is a very tight fit. The bushings are plastic and not sure if they will last.Also my old wheel axle housing is wider than the new one so I had to make a couple of “fillersâ€, one for each side to keep the wheel centred and stable.
