Wasted my time going to a big name screw and nut place trying to find these, then to a local hardware store without any luck, then on-line to a go-kart specializing business, and finally....presto whammo: AMAZON.COM and there they were, and now they're on the go-kart and the kids are happy once again! These are an "exact" match for the OEM nuts on Mercruiser outdrives. I had to replace a couple of lost/broken nuts with 304 stainless from the hardware store that used another socket for install/removal making it pretty annoying. These fit anywhere on my Bravo outdrive and lift cylinders.
