Just an FYI... my bad..... when I read the "produce description" that is down below the listed item it says 14".When I received the clock it's smaller than I thought. So I came back to check what I had ordered.... the initial description does say 8.5". You just may want to change the measurement in the description from 14" to 8.5. Other than that, item is as described, just a tad small.
