This Letter Box Cover can be used on the inside of the door. It stops wind and rain entering the home with the twin brushes. It comes with pre-drilled fixing holes and screws. The external dimensions of the letter plate are 335mm x 78mm. the internal aperture of the letter plate are 279mm x 45mm

This brushes in a slot idea is far better then any slot that America makes. This actually keeps out cold air that always gets through even the most expensive American made door slots.I even argued with an American Police Officer who told me that a Brass slot would be much stronger in keeping bad people out of my house.My rebuttal to the Officer is that both slot types are attached with 4 screws, right officer ? She replied yes. Then I asked her if criminals didn't have access to screw drivers. That Officer then changed her mind and agreed with me that plastic door slots were just as good as the higher priced American Brass Standard door slots in addition to the brushes on this British designed plastic door slot with those wonderfull air blocking brushes.

Took down after hearing mail carrier fighting day after day to push mail through. Great for stopping drafts though.

Well.. it worked fine till my J@ck@ss mailman stuffed 3" of mail through at once and broke all of the bristles rendering it useless.
