Threads up nicely, doesn't leak. Worked to make some shorter hose lengths. So far I've only used with double pipe clamps, wish they shipped with the correct crimps so there are no sharp edges and no chance of a clamp backing off. While we're wishing I wish they were on prime and showed up faster. Imagine being near a wildfire wanting to prepare or fix your hose and it'll be a month before these arrive lol....But they're solid, working good for me.

This fitting will not fit American 1 1/2 standard fire hose fittings. The inside diameter is to large.

The description and images provided show a coupled set. Further down in the description it is stated that there is only 1 piece. To my surprise when my package arrived there was ONLY the female portion (as described in the fine print) and not the male part of the set. Of course, the part I really needed was the male part to repair a hose as fast as possible for immediate use. I expected a ship time of 1 to 1-1/2 weeks as shown on the page. 4 weeks later I still don't have the hose fixed. I have sent a request to the vendor and am awaiting their reply.
