These will not hold in a hole that is 1 1/4 inches. They are more appropriate for a hole that is 1 1/8. The material and build quality seems fine but will not work for my application because of the size difference.

as stated in the title, doesn't come into contact with the water or plants re:food safe etc. Figure it is better than tape.

these are great for plugging holes in paper or maybe thin metal, but anything thicker than 20 gauge sheet metal (0.0396") will be too thick for these plugs. tried to use them to plug the bottom of a piggy bank LOL nope.product delivered is not the one pictured. no return availability. BEWARE.
