Product does not hold a gallon and is made with cheap material. Not worth the money something you'd expect to get from the Dollar Tree stores. Way over priced. Very unhappy. Apparently they don't have negative stars or that would of been my true rating and they didn't allow me to keep it blank. Really a piece of crap

I bought an extra one of these so I’d have a spare if needed because I like these so much. Spout is sturdy and doesn’t leak like others I’ve bought in the past. I recommend!

I'm going to start this review with much scepticism. I was not thrilled in the first place with spending $14.00 plus tax on a plastic pitcher. Its plastic. And its thin plastic. My husband gives it about 3 days tops before its broken. It says 1 gallon. You won't get a drop over that in it. The lid is literally sitting in your beverage. And it doesn't snap on tight. The little round lid on top, just sits in the hole. Doesn't snap closed at all. I don't understand the price on this item. Dollar general quality at best. I picked up a Rubbermaid tub at Wal-Mart for $6.98. 18 gallon tub and made very well. So I'm just smh. Ill.update this review when I have to return it.

It fits perfectly in fridge holds about 8 cups plus ice only used for tea. It seams a little cheaper than other quality products. Does clean easy. Hasn't leaked yet

False advertising all the way. Advertised as a gallon container it's a half-gallon. Overpriced for a half-gallon container. The only good thing it doesn't take up much room in the refrigerator. I'm starting to get frustrated with Amazon quality control it's becoming more common for these vendors to get away with misleading items for sale, starting to remind me of eBay when they started going downhill

I got this mainly for iced tea. I have been using a 2 liter plastic container for my iced tea and I got through it pretty quickly. Especially when I have to wait in between for the time to make a new pitcher full. So, I wanted to get a gallon container to elevate that issue. When seeing this ad, I liked its size since it would fit on my top shelf in my fridge. It seemed like a win all around for me. Unfortunately, it's not a gallon which is why I deducted the stars.If you fill completely to the tippy top of the container, you probably get around 3.5 liters or 90% of the gallon in it. And if you fill it that much you can't move it without spilling so not a realistic value. So at best you are going to be only getting about 3.25 liters or 85% of a gallon in it. Even less if you use the infuser. So, I am not super happy about that.Otherwise, the container works ok. The spout doesn't leak and seems to be working ok. I haven't used the basket as an infuser so can't really comment on that. As other reviews have pointed out, the lid just sits there so don't expect it to be anything but a dust cover. It won't prevent a spill.I will use this since I have it but I am very disappointed in the size and volume so I can't really recommend it, especially at the higher price tag of around $16 right now.
