Review: 1 in 4 Out Lever Wire Connectors - 5 Port Quick Connect Electrical Splicing ConnectorsI recently picked up the 1 in 4 Out Lever Wire Connectors with the orange handles, and I have to say, they've made my DIY low voltage projects so much easier and more efficient. With 14 pieces in a box, I’ve had more than enough to work with across various applications, and the convenience of quick connecting and disconnecting wires has been a game changer.Ease of Use:The standout feature of these connectors is undoubtedly their user-friendly design. The lever mechanism allows for a secure and quick connection, making it simple even for those who may not be very experienced with electrical work. I found that I could make connections in a matter of seconds, which is a huge plus when you're in the middle of a project and want to keep moving.Versatility for DIY Projects:I’ve primarily used these connectors for low voltage applications, such as lighting installations and small electronic projects. They work great in these contexts, providing a solid connection without the hassle of soldering or crimping. I appreciate how they simplify the process, allowing me to focus on creativity rather than struggle with the technical aspects of wiring.Quality and Build:The connectors feel sturdy and well-made, with a bright orange handle that is not only eye-catching but also easy to locate in a cluttered workspace. This thoughtful design adds to their usability, especially for anyone who has dealt with more traditional connectors that can sometimes be fiddly and frustrating.Downside – Lack of Electrical Rating:The only downside I’ve encountered is the absence of an electrical rating listed on the packaging or product description. While they perform admirably for my small projects, I hesitate to use them for anything that might be subject to building electrical codes or higher voltage applications. This lack of clarity is a concern for anyone who needs to ensure compliance with regulations, so it’s worth keeping in mind. Conclusion:Overall, I highly recommend the 1 in 4 Out Lever Wire Connectors for anyone tackling low voltage DIY projects. They provide a practical solution for quick connections and are incredibly user-friendly. Just be mindful of their limitations regarding electrical ratings and stick to smaller projects to ensure safety and compliance. If you’re looking for an easy way to streamline your wiring tasks, these connectors are definitely worth considering!

Useful for tiny electronics projects but shouldn't be used with home wiring or anything that could cause major damage. They're not UL listed, so if you use these and your house burns down, good luck getting anywhere with insurance. I do some small fun projects with light-gauge wire, and these make temporary connections much simpler.

I used these in our Christmas lights this year, and they seem to take every size wire I've ran in them (18G-12G) and hold VERY securely! They're easy to use, and have a good feel as to when they're locked in well. It's as simple as popping the tab up, slide the wire in, and lock it back down. There is no wiggle or looseness to it once it's in place. the openings are big enough to make sure there is no wire showing, but no so big as to feel like they are loose. I will likely order more if I have more projects come up requiring splitters due to the ease and cleanliness of this method! Highly recommend.

These wire connectors say they are for wires between 22-10awg wires, but they are really only for 16-10awg. They are not tight enough to hold wires smaller than 16 gauge securly and anything larger than 10 gauge just doesnt fit.

I got this to combine electrical cables for low voltage circuitry on electronics that I repair for a living. These connectors are pretty smooth. They work very similar to your typical wago connector just a lot less expensive. Build quality is really good. I think this will get the job done. The biggest knock is they don't offer it in different styles and sizes

I got these to replace the old round connectors I found in the box behind the wall. I am not a professional, but I have been changing out the light switches slowly around the house. Some boxes are very tight and I this large connector was a tight fit. And i found that it was sometimes difficult to get it right and keep the wire inside the clip. Once it’s inside properly, it does remain secure. I like the clip a lot although I think some design improvements could be made. I Ike that I was able to all of those wires into one connector.

We giggle about potential uses for this knock off wago, and how it may be misused.

This style of connector has quickly become one of my favorite for electrical splices. The levers make changing wires easy. When snapped in place the wire is securely held. This is much easier than twisting wires together and then twisting on a wire nut which may or may no stay on the splice. As you splice more and more wires into a splice the twisting kind of splice becomes unwieldy. This lever type connector is the only way to securely splice wires. Rework is also easier than twisting wires together. Just lift the lever and remove a wire and insert the new wire.
