  • This drive is a DC three-phase brushless Hallless control board. The motor can work normally even without Hall.
  • The standard speed control of the potentiometer does not require an external control signal. It increases clockwise and decreases counterclockwise.
  • Also applicable to external PLC 0-5 analog quantity control Unplug the potentiometer cable, external 0-5 analog quantity control signal and ground line, respectively connected with the brushless driver board input signal end, as long as the two lines are OK.
  • The ESC is specially designed for the design of all kinds of industrial power tools such as air pump, water pump, oil pump and fan which use DC three-phase brushless motor.
  • The default medium angle and long time high current work, suggest plus fan cold has overheat protection. The external heat dissipation condition of the ESC is poor, and the power is automatically reduced when the temperature exceeds 100 degrees. The temperature drops to 100 degrees and returns to normal.

please connect the wire correctly to avoid damage:UVW phase line output is connected to the motor, VCC/GND main power supply (external DC power supply)
Note:
There is no fuse on the power supply circuit on the main board, it is recommended to add it yourself, do not reverse the positive and negative poles of the power supply;
Please do not artificially short circuit when the module is not working normally, otherwise it may burn the line and burst the tube. Please test with a low current and low voltage for the first wiring test machine. After OK, then pass a large current and a large voltage;
Please do not connect the motor that obviously does not match the voltage, current and power of the drive module.

the one I got had a button instead of potentiometer and was low speed and half the time didnt work

The controller operates smoothly, though as stated in the product description it gets very hot. So far I've used this for a few months and had no issues with it.

I bought this to control a BLDC motor designed for drone airplanes to operate in a blower. Testing it at 9-11V (well within motor spec) from a bench supply able to supply up to 6A, it started behaving eratically above 1.5A, suddenly tripping overcurent protection in the power supply and then rapidly switching between braking and accelerating the motor a few times before entering a shutdown mode. This was with the pot very low.Trying a beefier PSU, the ESC just immediately burned itself out and no longer operates.

I made the mistake of removing the extension wires from this device and soldering my plug directly to this device before testing. The motor would barely turn them it would fail. The heat sink is just an aluminum plate and there is not sufficient thermal tape to cover all of the amplifiers.I have another one that was a different listed item from Amazon and it is still running great. It has a finned heat sink - not all are constructed the same.

Bought this to test an electric motor I hand built with 3d printed parts. I didn't have much expectations, but to my surprise the ESC worked perfectly and the motor spun to life at an alarming speed. Very handy.

The second I connected to a 12v power source it went up in smoke

Works as intended with 24v or less. I over volted to try to spin a larger motor and it did work for a few moments. Just trying to prove the wiring and motor were sound. Stay with in parameters and it is flawless.
