I always get a Jones reed but never would be able to play properly. Saw this was a European cut from another review and decided to try it out; turns out it was not my embouchure that was terrible just needed to try a different reed haha. Very good quality and packaging, case it comes with is nice. Sometimes it whistles but it’s not a problem, and it is cheaper than a substantial reed but is the same quality. Would recommend if you’re not having luck with different reeds and are a beginner.

The listing wasn't clear as to what kind of cut was on the reed, this pictures look like a longer American cut, but aren't terribly clear. This arrived with the European cut. Being accustomed to the American cut I actually was interested in trying a European cut so I was OK opening it up and trying it out. The reed itself was of good quality material. The opening was overly wide/open though, in my opinion. After soaking for a VERY long time I was finally able to make a sound. Turns out the European cut does not work with my American embouchure! The wire was cut a bit short and stuck out from the reed, I kept poking myself while sucking on the reed (it's how I wet it, I know many say not to do it that way ... not going to change). I would be interested in trying this brand of reed again, with the longer American cut.

Went with cheaper models in the past. Roffee reeds cost more but are worth every penny. Wont buy anything else.

I typically use Roffee reeds, but this one was a bit of a dud. Didn’t play or sound well when crowed, especially for a soft reed. Just expected better.

I am a beginner, and this worked well for me, but I don’t have much to compare quality to. But the service was great, got it quick, exactly when it was supposed to come (same day!).

Sound, funny headline. This reed doesn't make any sounds will not even "speak" I just bought 2 of them and they are both the same, no "quack" no squeak, no nothing.... So basically out 34$. To me, that is not the worst part, the worst part is now having to go find other reeds since these were totally inferior and useless.
