Purchased this for the motor I am building - a 347 for the hot rod. This spacer should insulate the ECU in my FiTech and hopefully prevent a heat related failure. Part looks good, appears square/flat. Not much else matters.

This is a nice quality spacer. Not completely solid, has an inverted u-shaped channel, not sure why but that should not interfere with performance. Gaskets are pretty decent quality. NOTE: this comes with studs that are too short for this spacer. I had to buy separate ones.

It seems like a good spacer, however they don't send you the right size studs. These studs would fit a regular Holly on a manifold without a spacer. I had to order 2-in studs and 2 1/2 in studs I will update the review once I know which ones fit.

Couldn’t mount carburetor with the supplied studs. Comes with washers and nuts and the nuts barely would grab a thread without a washer.

The underside of this spacer is hollowed out, so the sealing surface is somewhat compromised. I feel like this is almost guaranteed to cause a vacuum leak. The hardware it comes with (2 identical sets, no less) is about half an inch too short to use, so plan on spending another $15 on a set of mounting studs that you can actually use. Oddly enough, had I just spent the extra $15 in the first place I could have gotten a Mr. Gasket spacer that would have been solid and had the correct studs in the kit.

I'm running a FiTech throttle body that's approximately 1/2" thick at the base and the studs were too short. Plan on having to buy a longer set. I also wasn't impressed with the material where it looked more like plastic than a phenolic material.
