Your cart is empty.High Density foam has a compression rate of 44lbs. It features the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. Its soft but still holds its firmness and support for an individual to sit on it without compressing the foam too much. COMPRESSION = FIRMNESS Compression (not density) is what determines firmness. If you dont want a cushion thats hard as a rock or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, you have to check the compression or ILD number. Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress a piece of foam 25% and still bounce back to the original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 33 lbs. to pack it down 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 33 lb. compression rating or (ILD) -Indention Load Deflection. - ALL FOAM SHEETS ARE SOLD PER SHEET - NOT PER YARD. My couch cushions were starting to sag. It was easy to cut this length of foam into three even squares for my cushions and then maneuver them into the zippered cushion covers. They are the perfect firmness to make the couch comfortable again. A great way to give your couch new life without spending a bundle.

This worked well, I have a 43" sofa whose springs have worn. I put a 1/4 inch piece of plywood under the cushions so we don't sink down too far, but the cushions are a bit thin and did not have enough cushioning over the plywood. This foam worked well on top of the plywood. Being 82 inches when cut in half would have been nicer if each part was an inch longer. This made a sofa that we would have thrown out, comfortable again.

This was very nice foam for what I needed it for. It cut smoothly. It did not feel junky. I used it for an extra layer of cushion in a child's chair In making. It really brought the comfort level up!

I am reupholstering some patio furniture and this product is perfect for use as the thin foam layer between the suspension straps and the cushions. It's easy to manipulate, measure, cut and then staple to the rails.

We cut 5, sixteen inch circles for expensive ash kitchen stools. Stuck with 2-sided tape. They get used every day, and all our guests find them comfortable. We covered them with elastic rimmed stretchy upholstery covers and the total cost was less than $30 per stool, which is reasonable in my opinion for the comfort of the finished product.
