I figured since I had a lot to paint, I would try the 5 gal. bucket method. I never did this before; I've always used the trays and dealt with all the problems that go along with that, so I was really looking forward to trying it this way. The grid did not shed the paint off verywell and the paint like to spray out of the bucket if you tried to use it on the "upswing" Once I got the hang of always using it on the downstroke, it became a little easier. Overall, it made the job a tad more pleasant, but nothing to write home about.
