CAUTION: Be careful with this harness. Do not raise your dog up 5 feet like the pictures and videos will show all over the internet. My dog was nearly injured from one of the provided hooks bending straight.My senior pitbull has always been terrified of getting his nails cut. I gave this a try as a last resort. It was an easier struggle getting him into the harness a couple times than it has been to try to cut his nails. The first time using this, one of the hooks bent and dropped him down to the floor. Thankfully, he was not injured and his legs were just above the floor. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I would hate for someone else’s dog to be injured by this. My boy is well within the weight for this harness.I ended up using cam buckle straps through the loops to make sure he did not fall again.Word of advice, if your dog tries to nip when they are scared; put a muzzle on them when they are raised up. The harness does not control their head, so they can still get you; but my dog seemed much more calm when he was lifted up and never struggled other than to move his head down when I was working on his front paws.

I am so glad I read the reviews and made the purchase! I have a 9 month Lab that does not like his nails trimmed AT ALL! We tried putting him on all kinds of meds the day before and day of the vet trimming. Even that took them trimming a few nails going back trimming a few more and with him still fighting them. Then next step was putting him completely out which would end up being costly and I cant stand him having to take all the meds that didn't work and putting him under. WELL this was a total miracle worker! I also bought a muzzle, a very simple one just in case. Once we got him situated...he was totally RELAXED!!! Like he was just relaxing un a hammock. I did keep the muzzle on..again a very plain and simple one. I was able to take my time as he is a brown lab w/black nails. Also even could filed them!! This has been a major life changer because I just could handle the cost and stress of nail trimming. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE for the great reviews 😀. I wouldn't use it to lift them all the way off the ground because it's not padded well and he seemed to be in discomfort when going too high (probably fine if your dog is under 100lbs) but it works perfectly to keep them from laying on their paws.

It was slighly a bit big for my two pugs. They fit until i started cutting their nails and they squermed and squeeze their way out of it whilst screaming like banchies. I love the idea, my dogs just absolutely hate getting their nails cut.
