I belabored this decision forever. It was a bit more expensive but I love everything about it (except its short recharging cord). It is bright or dimmer if you use with built in flashlight . It is easy to go from solid red to flashing when a car approaches. It is light enough to carry easily and I like the wrist strap. It can give off a loud noise if needed to attract attention. It says it is to direct airplane's..but I think it could be used to draw attention or scare dogs. I am so happy I paid more and got the rechargeable model. Night walking is now safer than ever!

Was initially very nice for traffic control/directional Worked great for a few hours but difficult to switch modes or turn off. Finally, the function control switch quit working totally. Only stays in flashing mode when charged. Now no way to turn wand off or change mode. Charged up quickly and beam lasted 5-6 hours standard usage. No user repair options. I will order another one and hope for better durability.

I am a police officer and use my light for hours at a time. I whip it out day and night and even hang it out the window to flag drivers from inside the car. Being rechargeable was what sold me and couldn’t be happier.

Feels kind of cheap, we'll see how long it holds up. It's difficult to find these in a rechargeable format so I hope it lasts.

I've had mine a month. Needed one for my job. The belt clip detached and fell off after the first week. The charging port detached from its socket a week ago. Today the flash light setting stopped working. The battery life is too short, but it is rechargeable which earned it a second star. Spend your money on something more durable unless you only intend to take it out of storage for emergencies.

Did not ship with rhe usb charger. Orherwise i like the light but I need the charger asap.

The whistle and the light are a great asset. They aren't meant for longterm use but for the flashlight at hand need, it does well. Very happy with the wand so far.
