I had a project that needed nuts for #8-32 machine screws; this is exactly the size that I needed and it fit perfectly. Love that they're stainless steel because I'm using them in a wet environment and need them not to rust/corrode. I only needed 16 out of a pack of 100, so I guess if they do rust, I have plenty of extras on hand.

This package of hex nuts is a great value for the money. The sizes and variety of them is a help in the toolbox. The quality of the nuts and bolts is great also.

For the price, this is a decent assortment of hex nuts, but I noticed that some sizes were missing or unevenly distributed. If you need a variety for occasional use, it’s fine, but if you’re looking for something super precise, you might want a more premium kit.

I didn't get these with the intention that they're to be used for. I have no bolts to match these nuts.What I did need was something weighted that could fit inside these gonggis that I 3D printed. Gonggis have to have some weight to them and hollow filament prints have barely any weight. I tried using sand. messy but didn't get the weight i need. It was suggested that I use ball bearings but they're expensive. A friend suggested hex nuts and i'm like GENIUS! this does the trick - it fits and also the weight is in line what traditional gongis are.

I got these for a CNC tool holder rack I was building, and they worked really well. The threads fit my #10-32 screws perfectly, and the hex fit my 3/8" wrench perfectly as they should. The stainless steel is nice and bright and looks great, and they should never rust, so they should continue to look nice over time. I was able to tighten them as much as I wanted with hand tools and did not have any issues, no striped threads and they are nice and secure. These racks are holding quite a bit of weight, but everything is very secure, and I am confident these nuts will continue to hold things together. As a bonus They come in a nice little plastic box which is very easy to retrieve one nut at a time for, and contains them all together, and when these nuts are gone, I can re-purpose the box for some other small parts.
