Metal is so much better than plastic. Have replaced plastic ones with these as they seem to not get loose easily and are better.

Probably perfect for American made potentiometers. Wrong thread pitch for mine, so I had to dremel out the threads and super-glue the pot and washer and nut in. WORKS A CHARM! Looks good enough to fool the best of 'em! Until someone needs to replace it. I just got tired of rolling the dice and hoping. Now I'm sure to find the original nut.

Had a 1970s (?) 1980s(?) aftermarket radio with only one nut for the shafts. These are the same and it allowed me to reuse the radio.
