I purchased the 2 1/8 valance clips to replace the broken clips that hanged my wooden valance. I purchased the same size that was originally used. I must say for plastic clips they are very sturdy and do not break easily. Difficult installation. I had difficulty adjusting them to hang my valance at a specific level. I felt the clips should allow for adjustment. The valances need to be hung in an aesthetically pleasing height. For me the clips would just fall in place with no room for adjustment. This caused my valance to hang to low. I had to do a lot of creative placement to get the desired look. With that being said I wondered if a smaller clip would have worked better? I will say…again these plastic valance clips are very strong. The way I was handling these clips they should have broken. The clips look just like the photo. I appreciate that considering on previous orders I’ve often received a totally different product than photo ad.

I broke a few of these removing the valences to my blinds and was frustrated as to how to solve the problem when I found these on Amazon. They matched up with my blinds perfectly and now I don't have 'taped up' valences from where I broke the brackets. This company had alot of parts for blinds and shades to fix stuff instead of having to buy all new blinds.

These clips aren't exactly what I wanted but I made them work and I don't think my valance will ever fall again. Once installed they show a bit at the top of the valance and don't quite cover the top rail completely, but they are holding much more securely than the double sided tape I was using. I may have purchased the wrong type of clip. This blind was missing the clips when it was given to me so I'm not sure what the original clips looked like. I managed to install them without breaking them even though they didn't quite fit so I'd say they are durable.
