Needed to utilize these last night on a typical padlock, and they were too flimsy to get the job done...the fit was great, but when it came time to manipulate the mechanism, they just bent and twisted. The "plastic" comfort grips over the "handle' areas slide off making it impossible for any traction at all.

They may work on some locks, but not on any I tried. Be very sure that the plastic is in place, (ask me how. I know)All in all not recomended

For me it didn’t work as intended it was too flimsy to do what it said it was supposed to do it was very sharp and it was cutting my hands and fingers so bad that it to me might as well be tin foil but when I wrote the seller they offered me some money back for being the wrong purchase for me and I say that was the only good thing about the deal

Worked well on the older locks I tested. Note that the shims do bend and deform and I believe are designed to be disposable

Padlock shims are a good way to unlock your padlocks if you lost the key to the lock you own. Unfortunately these only worked on the clear plastic training locks for me.Other conventional padlocks have too tight fittings for these to work.I bought another set elsewhere that had 4 sizes instead. As a beginner I didn’t know any better but you need various sizes depending upon what lock you have.Unless it’s a large shackle that is not protected these won’t work for you.

10 of these for $8. Yeah, you get what you pay for. Warped instantly. Handles slid immediately off. Couldn't get any locks off. You don't see any video of anyone using these should have been a clue.

The shims are all the same size and to thick to slide in most locks even cheap dollar store locks.
