Reason for ordering: Needed about 20 of these for a project (I did order 30 to cover any potentially damaged pieces - the nature of dried natural materials).Shipping: Ordered on Saturday 1/25, they arrived today, Monday 1/27! Not sure if it was because the warehouse closest to me had these in stock or what but happy about the expedited arrival nonetheless. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Packaging: They arrived carefully packaged. Each butterfly was on its own foam square, with a large cutout for the body to fit without bending or squashing it, then placed in a sealed baggie. Each order of 10 was placed in a clamshell cardboard box with cotton batting around it for cushion. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Expectations vs. reality: I think there was a good variety of specimens included. A lot of darker and orange butterflies, with a few colorful ones as well. Very close to the photograph advertised, so I was pleased with what I received. Out of the 30, only five had some damage, which was minimal. Three had a broken antenna, and two had a broken thorax. I expected that may happen since taxidermy insects are pretty fragile. No broken wings that I could see. (I give five stars for this as well, even with the tiny bit of damage, again because I expected that may happen with the nature of what was ordered.) âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸Overall, this is a decent value for what you get, and I will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future from this seller. I recommend!
