I thought I had canceled this order for these M6 binding posts in favor of some smaller M4 binding posts. I ended up getting these anyway, probably by mistake. They are big and heavy, standing 25mm above the mounting surface, do not have through-holes in the posts or jacks for banana plugs, but are a good price. You will need a 6mm ID ring terminal to fit. This big issue is that with 2 washers installed on the post, the knob only exposes 4mm of the terminal before it falls off, so you'll only be able to get 1 or 2 ring terminals on it. Now that I have them, I guess they will do OK for my projects. Kind of big though

At first glance the metal parts of these binding posts might appear to be plated copper or brass but they are not. All the binding posts I received were magnetic, which means they have a significant amount of iron which copper or brass does not. Most likely these are galvanized steel, which has much worse conductivity than copper or brass. Only buy these if you can live with the higher electrical resistance of steel. These could probably still carry a lower amount of current but they will not perform as well as copper would.
