Good product melts great in a hot glue gun. I use these for doing custom sealed envelopes with our family crest. Turns out very well. Gets alot of notice for professional or formal mail.

Having used the old school candle stick style previously, the quality of these is notably different. These are essentially colored hot glue sticks, which is fine for most purposes. The blue was pretty but it was very light and translucent when used, so it was difficult to really see details from our stamp.

I thought the color would be in a metallic red, but if you look at the photo compared to a different set of red wax hot glue ceiling sticks I previously purchased from a different seller. These ones are really red at all. They are almost an orange copper color and they are slightly translucent and metallic but have very little red pigment in them at all. They don't really look like a wax seal.The melting point on these sticks requires a higher temperature than other sticks. When you squeeze it out it partially cools before you've even had time to put the stamp on. I also find you need to use a lot more glue for some reason to generate a wax seal of the same size. It doesn't flow very well and just doesn't seem very good quality. I wouldn't purchase these again.

The wax is more glue than wax. Does not stick well to paper envelopes to actually seal with stamp.
