I shopped around a lot before pulling the trigger on the 10-plant bundled variety pack. Shipping across the country took three days, and it sat in my mailbox all afternoon on an 80 degree day, so I was a little worried when I opened up the box. I found that the plant bundles were actually in really good shape overall. The red flame swords were a little worn out, but I think they will recover. The Amazon sword looked great, very healthy and a good size, though I only got one of those. There was one substitution-- I didn't get the Cryptocoryne Wendtii Bronze-- and I'm not sure of the ID of the plant they subbed it with. But overall I am happy with the purchase. Bundles of 5-7 were in generously packaged, and the whole package was probably close to 60 individual plants, enough to get a 46 gallon tank up and running.Do be aware that many of these plants are grown with an emersion method, in which they are partially out of the water. Plant breeders do this because they can grow many more in a shorter period of time. The plants will adapt to your tank, but it might take several weeks, and they often shed their old leaves before growing new ones. The package came with a note explaining this, which I appreciated. Not all planted tank enthusiasts will be cool with that, but for me, buying emersion-grown plants is worth the trade-off in value, I don't mind waiting for the time it takes them to adapt to full immersion and become more vibrant and natural looking.

So the shipping had a heat pad in box, when I opened the box everything was a big pile of mush I ran under water and was able to get 3 out of the 10 plants. Not in Good shape but I’m hoping they will survive. Leaves were all over in bag all blk and mushy. Smelled bad as well.

Great selection of plants, and at least 4 free snails. I got this multiple plants pack because I wasn't sure what my already existing snail and pleco would or would not leave alone. Suffice to say, the pleco has shredded three of the 10, and the other 7 he does not appear interested in. I guess now I know! The plants are already noticeably growing, which is great. The roundy spoon leaf one is easily my favorite. So, back to my free snails...Three of them are bladder snails, and one is a rams horn. I'm super curious as to what else is going to come out of the woodwork. I already have a nerite, and I was considering getting more snails, I guess now I don't have to. To be fair, THEY DID STATE THERE MAY BE SNAILS. I'm a bit of a snail enthusiast, but this was still a surprise. I'm probably about to have more than I'm going to know what to do with. Welp, in a month I'm betting this is going to be a lesson--to quarantine plants before introduction to the main tank. (Anyone who doesnt want to run the risk... well, they have a snail free selection as well, which is not what a purchased).I also bought two potted dwarf baby tears from the same seller, and all arrived together (12 plants) in a sealed humid bag, fast and in decent condition, all the way to Alaska.I think one of the bladder snails is laying eggs.... literally everywhere. I'm about to have a very clean tank, AND healthy plants. I'm still not entirely clear how I feel about the multiple snails. At first I was excited when I found ONE and after finding more and some internet "research" I'm not entirely sure. The plants are great though.

I've had these for about a week now and they are thriving in my 10 gallon tank. They arrived in pretty good condition and I actually received alot of some of the plants. They come bunched in a metal weight to prevent it from floating. Only two plants, I'm not sure what the names are, looks very yellow in color. In the picture it looks more green so we'll see if it improves in color. The red sword plant (top left corner of picture) I received is all green instead of red. I hope the color will come in soon as I was looking forward to adding a splash of red to the tank. I didnt get the plant that is on the top right of picture but I'm actually really disappointed that I didnt get the bottom left plant in picture that looks like grass. That is something I would have really liked to have received. I received big bunches of certain plants so they were a bit of overkill for my 10 gallon tank but I'm not complaining. I put them all in there and they seem to be doing well. Some plants are already starting to peep out of the top of waterUpdate after 1.5 month later....Some plants have melted away but a good amount is still thriving. I just cleaned out my tank and rearranged the plants. I did some trimming to groom them a bit and I think it's looking a lot better. I have attached a current pic of my tank with the plants. I'm actually happier now that there are less plants because it's less cluttered, hence enabling the look of my tank. Still a great dealRed flame sword - I received 1 stalk and it's thriving. Red leaves are starting to grow in.Amazon Sword - I received 1 stalk. It's going well and very green.Anacharis - this one melted away. There are none existing in my tank anymore.Cryptocoryne - I have 3 of these and they are thriving. They are smaller so I keep them in the frontMoneywort - I have a healthy bunch of these and they are growing strong and peeping out of the top. Might have to trim them soon.Hornwort - I received a big bunch of this but unfortunately it was browned. I put them in the tank anyway. Since it was a big bunch it was dominating my tank. The "needles" shed allover my substrate and was stuck in my filter. It makes a mess. I often time have to use a fish net to fish them out since I don't have a siphon. It just started growing some healthy green stems so I went ahead and cut off all the brown parts. Hopefully this will reduce the shedding. It looks much better groomed now.Vallisneria - I love the look of this plant but unfortunately did not receive this.Rotala Indica - slot melted away but I have trimmed some good parts and kept them. Hopefully it will grow.Cambomba - I like the look of this and it does not shed. But a lot of it melted away. I might have 2 or 3 short stems left and trying to get it to grow

The bundle was a pretty good deal. I lost a few of the plants either in shipping or shortly afterwards. Some of the plants arrived very healthy and a couple others looked pretty dead. Great idea, wish more plants lived.
