The 3/16 inch chrome steel Bicycle Ball Bearings, 100 by BC Precision Store came today. I have 3 bikes, and have done so much similar work the last few days on them, I cannot remember which bike, how many and which wheel these went on. I want to say they went on the back wheel of my 1999 Specialized Hard Rock Comp bike, but I may be confusing that with the bearings I did on my Genesis Villotti. Either way, I first extracted the old bearings with a magnet on a pole, measured the size with a digital caliper tool, cleaned the bearing races, put new axle grease in, placed the correct # of bearings, then adjusted the cone and lock nut so that the wheel wasn't binding - spun freely IN MY HANDS, but had only the very slightest side to side movement. After installation of the wheel and Quick Release Skewer, I again made sure the wheel wasn't too tight or loose. I was doubting my ability to do this right, and had to do this 3 times until it was right. So, be patient, have plenty of light, and look over your work once it's back together. A bearing too tight can wear fast, and too loose can allow it to turn fast, but leave a wobbly wheel.

Worked as intended my original bearings were 7 caged ended up using 9 loose bearings in place of the cage rolls buttery smooth now with a new hub axle as well.

Delivered quickly, well packaged, dimensions were spot on. Used in bicycle internal hub rebuild, original grease had dried into a wax, not providing lube to bearings or planetary gears. New life to an old hub and we are cruising again.

These allowed me to replace the 20 balls in the front hub of my 10 year old Verve 2.Had to go to the local shop to get the axle kit but they didn't have the bearings in stock so these worked out just fine. More than enough for my wife's bike which I'll do this winter when it's locked into the trainer.Should be good for another 10 years.

These ball bearings are nice. Just don’t need as many as I received

I don't know if these are "campy" or Shimano brand, but they are polished more than other generic ball bearings I have used in the past. I would hazard a guess and say they are. My rear wheel hub would seem to agree. They are smoother, which is what I was going for. I replaced caged bearings with "loose" ones on a newer bike rim. I cleaned and used Shimano Dura Ace hub grease as well. All my expectations have been met. I have No complaints.
