I used this to hang workshop lights. It worked very well and was well worth the price in my opinion. The links aren't soldered shut so they're very easy to open and close. Very happy with the purchase.

It’s always good to have some laying around. Only disappointment was that this is not the s shaped chain allowing the ends to be bent and pressed together the way I like, but it works. Feels plenty strong

I know this is meant for outdoors, but I actually use the chain to secure things in the workshop. For example, I have some hanging LED lights that I hung from the rafters. To cut it, I use some miniature bolt cutters (8"). If you don't have a pair, I recommend picking one up, a decent pair isn't expensive at all and it makes it so much easier. It looks good, and allows you to adjust the height without recutting chain by simply moving it to a different link. The price is so much better than what it costs in the store, and it doesn't go bad, so you can set it aside until you need it. It's also pretty attractive looking for chain, so you can use it without it anwywhere without looking out of place. I'm happy with this, it did what I needed it to do.

I am impressed with this roll of 100 ft Jack Chain Galvanized Steel Hanging Chain. I wasn't expecting it to be this good quality.I got this to hang pictures ornamentally and a few other things like neon-like signs where the chain will be showing. This looks much better than some other chain available locally in this price range. Frankly, you could use this as a necklace and it'd look as good or better than some of these necklace chains. With the amount you get, you can afford to experiement.I do think this will be a lot easier to cut with bolt cutters because I think this is a better quality. If you don't have a pair of bolt cutters, a good wire cutter will work but you will need to use both hands and cut each side of the link at a time.
