I liked the fact that it was packed well. The bars are small enough to fit into a pot. I had to grate mine for a recipe. It was to make paw balm for my dog. Definitely excellent value for my money. Very good ease for cutting and grating. Excellent quality and performance. The bars had no stickiness to them, until you melt and pour into another container. A whisk will help. I will order this again another time.

This isn't beeswax. Not by a long shot.Leave some of this in a cup of water for a bit, and the dye leeches right out.Want to confirm that it's just some low-grade paraffin? Stick it in a pot and test its melting point -- far too low for typical beeswax, at least without additives.If they're willing to lie about it being beeswax, what other chemicals are in it? Lead? Arsenic?

I found a recipe that calls for beeswax and jojoba oil for a natural wood conditioner. I made the concoction (which, by the way, I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to respond when my husband asked me what I was doing while I was melting it, "minding my beeswax") and used it to protect the wood on our raised organic garden beds. It protects wood from the elements without any harmful chemicals leaching into your vegetable garden. I saved the leftovers and will use it to condition my cutting boards, charcuterie boards and pizza peels.

Each 1 oz bar does not weigh 1 oz. While mixing my recipes, I put 2 bars on the scale and it was less than 2 oz weight. So I tested more of them. Wax is decent quality, but not the amount advertised. 24 oz is probably closer to 20 oz total in the box.

NOT Beeswax! Fails every test for beeswax. 1. Does not smell like honey. 2. Has hard texture even after warming 3. Melts very quickly when exposed to flame. Amazon should stop selling this product.
