These work fine. You can find them cheaper other places, but it's still much cheaper than sodastream.Sometimes most of the gas rushes out the back instead of into the siphon. I assume this is what people mean when they talk about "duds", but really the gas is there it just didn't make it into the water. I'm not sure how this could be the result of a physical difference in the cartridges, so I assume it's either because I overfilled the container with water and not enough room for the gas, or I've accidentally mislaigned the threads and screwed it on at an angle as a result. I have tried many cartridges from many brands and never encountered a true "dud".

These chargers work great. Normally I do notice slight differences in taste between different brands of charges, but with these I don't find any bad taste when compared to more expensive charges. I do recommend them, especially for the price savings. I have noticed many people saying that they use these for whipped cream. These are not for whipped cream, use NO2 charges for that. I actually did make a mistake and use a CO2 charge for whipped cream once. It tastes like the whipped cream fermented, not pleasant IMO.

I am the happy owner of a Growlerwerks uKeg and was looking for reasonably-priced CO2 cartridges. These work great! They easily last throughout the 64oz fill, with some gas left over to flush out the keg spout during the cleaning process.

MUCH cheaper than buying cases of canned soda water. We use TWO 1 liter containers and alternate them with a magnet on the fridge. Never run out that way. LOVE the product. NOW this was my 3rd or 4th order. They have changed the packaging on an order for 100. Now plastic encases the entire 10 boxes, and is Glued TO ONE SIDE, thus ripping the boxes apart, shredding part of the boxes when trying to take it apart. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN ANY WAY. Really TERRIBLE packaging.

We've purchased these burgundy and black packs in this quantity before. Only complaint is that it seemed like the original case could have been shipped successfully, but it was packed into another huge box. The individual cartridge boxes were a different color than what's shown in the picture - more of an orange instead of burgundy - no big deal. It does seem like these are fizzier than ones we've purchased before, but we love that, so we're happy.

The bluish colour of the cartridges had me worried at first, but they are the same shape as other silver and gold cartridges and fit the tool needed to apply the CO2 to the Soda maker. The finished Soda Water is nice and crisp tasting. Remember to use Cold Water when making Soda.
