This was a super product for cleaning delicate items that you must be very careful with. I used them to clean the very small speaker screens at the bottom of my phone plus the power connector port. I used them to clean all of my family’s phones and was not worried at all about damaging them.

The swabs are too large to clean USB-C or Micro USB, and when used on larger ports, they shed the fluff off the cleaning end in the port, making things worse than when you started. All in all, I expected a small, flimsy, low-quality product (it is a disposable cleaning swab), but this isn't even that it is worse because it doesn't work and makes dirty port problems worse. Also, common port cleaners like BW-100 or 99% alcohol melt the cleaning fibers into a goo that leaves residue all over everything. Sadly, this product is a do not buy as it doesn't work and will worsen things.

OK - I bought these for cleaning out the charge ports on my phone and computer, and for cleaning the cracks in my tablet keyboard. These work pretty well for that. I have not noticed them leave any fibers in the charge port. But, they are TINY -I suppose they have to be -so you may need to use several when cleaning your devices. Use other things for larger areas where you are unlikely to worry about leaving cotton or fabric fibers, and use these for the detail and small spaces.

Close, but doesn't fit inside charger ports as I hoped... I'll find a use for them either way...
