I have an oversized chair in my playroom for my two daughters and they love to play and climb on it. The slipcover is constantly shifting around and sliding off the chair onto the floor in places. These pins are wonderful for securing the slipcover in strategic places where it stays in place, and the pins are out of the way so my girls don’t mess with them. They are easy to use - just pick a location, twist in the pin with the plastic head and go until the head is tight against the surface of the fabric. If screwed in right, it stays in place even when the fabric is tugged or pulled. My pins have stayed in place and so has my cover ever since I started using these. They are small and can be screwed in anywhere. I definitely recommend these pins for any slipcover.

I got these upholstery tacks to affix some cat-proof fabric on my sofa. I thought they might work better than the tacks that came with the fabric, but I had the same disappointing results. The tacks bend too easily even though they are listed as high quality stainless steel.
