I'm using these for laser engraving. Think woodburning, but you can burn a jpeg with a photo or line art etc. I'm new to the hobby, still learning, so I'm looking for stuff to practice with that is not too expensive but I can still make something that looks classy.What do I like about this product?Uniformity. Same size (diameter and thickness). Same surface texture. Material properties are uniform, not varying as the laser travels across the workpiece, and one coaster is the same as the next and the next. This means when I get the first one aligned in the fixture, the second one will be too.Price. I can experiment with different images and throw it away if it doesn't look right (or turn it over and use it to practice on the next image), without much investment lost. It also means I can hand them out for free to friends and local businesses.Since both sides are the same, once I get an image to burn right I can put my logo and contact info on the back side. It's like a business card but better. The potential customer has immediate buy-in, seeing their logo on the front, and it's something that looks great and they can use so they don't want to throw it away (like a normal business card).Delivery was a day late, but no points off for that. It was not their fault, that's on the postal system. They shipped on time.

These were thinner than I thought they would be. I bought them to engrave on and for the cost they are good for practice. Not something I would consider for reselling. They are durable and soak up the water.
