I got these pins to use while making bobbin lace. They work well at keeping my pin cushion attached to the pillow, and at keeping my bobbins from separated while working with them.They feel like they might be a bit flimsy for any more demanding application.They come in a nice plastic case, that feels sturdy. It feels like it can hold up to repeated use without breaking.Overall, they do exactly what I purchased them to do.
