They are a quality product but they don't fit the shelves I have. I got my wire shelves at Costco. These tags are too big. They don't snap on. They just hang so if bumped they fall off.

These are great for labeling rolling shelving cart shelves. They fit perfectly and the plastic is durable and can withstand being clipped on and later removed and reused on a different shelf with no problem. The cardboard label backers work great to ensure the labels stay in place as well and are a nice addition to the kit. Highly recommend!

We have two sets of wire shelves (different brands) that are a pretty standard 1 1/4" size and these labels are too large to fit securely to either of the shelves. I am using these on a farm and they don't need to be aesthetically pleasing, so I was able to bend the label holders in so that there is a smaller space between the hooks and they now clip onto the shelves. If you were using these in a store or anywhere where you wanted them to look good, these wouldn't work.

I'm a General Manager of a fast food restaurant. I bought this product to label my metro shelving in the freezer, walk-in cooler, and dry storage areas. After the first week, I noticed many of the shelf tags had fallen on the floor or were under the shelving. We get deliveries of new product twice a week and as boxes were being placed or removed on the shelves, they were hitting the shelf tags and knocking them on the floor. Several were damaged with part of the clip cracked or split. In an environment where product is not as heavy and the shelf space gets less use, this product may be more beneficial. Also, I found that the cards provided to print what the tags were labeling, the ink would run in the walk-in and freezer from the damp environment. I would recommend laminating those before placing them onto the holders in those areas to prevent that. I did that and they have been fine since. Not a product issue but something to think about if you have similar uses for the product.
