I used them to replace LEDs in a damaged solar lantern with pictures of cardinals on each side. Worked great, fit perfectly and the higher color temperature compared to the originals made it brighter looking. I suspect these are also more efficient.

these things are awsome. Last time I bought them, at the time, was a beginner at soldering on circuit boards. This time around with these smd leds I nailed it. I used them to replace the ugly amber colored leds in my car. Changed them out on the window controls, ac controls, etc etc. They worked perfectly are bright.

Used these to change the color of the dash LEDs from the default orange to pink in my daughter's 2003 Mini Cooper we are rebuilding. She wants it a pink theme. Took a couple hours to solder them in place after getting the instrument panel apart and as you can see by the picture they turned out really nice.These are small, so if you aren't confident in your soldering skills proceed with caution, I botched a couple of them just due to tight space, but eventually figured it out and fixed them.The red ones, didn't illuminate as you can see by all the dark circles and center needle that SHOULD be lit up. The instructions stated they are reverse polarity LEDs, so I soldered them that way, but not one of them works so I will have to redo them. May just do them all in pink.

The product is supplied in a plastic strip that keeps them secure until needed. Easy to solder onto the repaired circuit board. I used a piece of double sided tape at end of a stick to hold it in place during soldering.

I ordered these to replace the backlighting in my cars instrument cluster. They are very bright and can be dimmed like a normal gauge cluster light. The polarity notch is easy to see to make sure you get a proper installation. Lots of lights for a great low price.
