These were exactly what I was looking for. The finish is nice and consistent and there weren't any that seemed to be mis-cast or of questionable quality. I used a small punch to create a pilot hole to get them started and it worked like a charm.

While these screw eyes are nicely made, the thread size is smaller than I expected. I use a 1/16" drill bit to predrill a hole and that is too large for the threads to grab internally in the hole. I need to predrill, otherwise these would break the 1/8 " - 1/4" wood I use for ornaments and such.
