We have been reading a lot about space and the solar system, so I thought the kids would really enjoy this set to create their own. Â It comes just as described and has plenty of pieces to create the solar system you desire. Â It does not come with any learning materials or picture guides, so you just create using your own mind or your own research. Â There are two pieces that can be used as the base, so the kids wanted to make all of the planets in our solar system on one and use the extra pieces on the other. Â It did not make any suggestions on what type of paint to use, so we just used our basic tempra paint and it worked very well. Â I had the younger kids creating this so they just added any colors they wanted and decided which planet it would be. Â All of the pieces were pretty easy to paint and the whole thing was easy to assemble. Â Most importantly, they had fun doing it. Â This set comes with plenty of flags to label anything you need. Â This would be a great set for school projects because it has so many pieces and is easy to customize. I think the price is great for all that you receive and you won't have to go out and collect each individual piece you need.

Bought this for my daughter’s school project. It was nice in my opinion it needed more paint.
