The opening is very small. Too small for sipping and they are 7.5". Not the 8" they advertise.

I got several boxes of these last year and loved them,but ordered them again and they were the light red ones in a white and blue box and were not watch I ordered because the width of the sipper was bigger than the dark red straws.Can you please tell me what the width of these dark red straws is I absolutely love them.I do not like the light red ones.Thank you.

These are the longer stirs. I have big coffee mug. Stiff enough to stir sweater and half &half.

I hate to admit it but I am a chronic straw user and I have felt guilty about it since I know they are bad for the environment. I had previously tried paper and metal straws and don't really like them for a variety of reasons so I kept hoping that someone would make product like this. These are the perfect size and don't melt in your drink like the paper ones. Plus, I feel less guilty using them, knowing that they are bio degradable.
