In my state we can no longer get free bagging like we use to and the stores are no longer allowed to use these plastic bags and provide paper bags at extra cost. (These bags are also a danger to wild life as we live near the ocean and a lot of people would reuse them to tote stuff to the beach. and they would fly away and end up in the ocean.) The paper bags, as before plastic bags came into use, get wet from humidity from cold food items and have no handles, the ones that do, have rope handles or cut out handles and tear easily. The reusable bags are bulky and hard to manage as you have to remember to take them with you and put back in the car for next use. These bags are strong enough to carry bulky items as well as consolidate small ones and fold or scrunch up nicely so I use and reuse them all the time! I ran out of them which I use to buy at a warehouse store before the law passed banning use as "carry out bags" by businesses and grocery stores and I use to save, and reuse as refuse bags/trash bags as well around the house. They are less expensive than bags sold for that purpose and are very versatile, not just for T-shirts! The warehouse stores stopped carrying them here and so I finally found them on Amazon. It costs a little more than I use to pay but it still cheaper than what the stores charge for their bags. Yes it still fills the landfill with garbage, but the landfill also contains all the other plastic stuff anyway, much more bulkier as plastic is now part of our lives and still a big problem as we don't have facilities that recycle these items here in my state. I do not use them near the water or allow them to blow away.

Our local jurisdiction hates disabled people, so I sought a solution on Amazon: When they forbade stores from putting purchased items in plastic bags in the name of some misguided attempt to help the environment (the move did exactly zero toward that end), we had to get bags of our own to carry groceries in. These are doing excellently. Just being able to have a flexible bag with a handle makes all the difference in the world for someone mobility challenged to have independence. We even get asked by other customers to let them have some until they realize they aren't bags from the store but ones we bring from home. Would definitely recommend for anyone in a situation like ours where the government cares more about looking good than doing good.

In our area, plastic bags in the stores have been banned. So disappointing! With just the two of us now here at home, we need only a small bag each day for trash which then goes outside to the big lawn and leaf bags. Small plastic cans have to be continually scrubbed. So we really wanted plastic bags again. Thought we'd hit a gold mine with these!!! They are thin and could be a bit bigger but still love them. Sometimes it's just the little things that can make you so happy! 😄

Pros:-reasonable price for quantity given-not super thick or thin, durable enough for most expected usage like for trash bags, carrying groceries-conveniently packaged in a small box-versatileCon:-my only issue was i got a few bags less than purchase amount advertised. And yes. I did choose to count them.

Note: we received bag bags with just Thank You & stars on them. The box was correct for the white/red bags, but it had black bags in them, Had to use those for the shop, as no time to send them back. Also there is no way to talk to someone from Amazon, about the Wrong Bags being in the correct shipping box. You may have more than one box , with the wrong bags in them at the manufacturer ?? Thanks.
