When my nephew came to put up my lights, he thought these hooks were for a different painted wood surface but he said we could try it. So far, the hooks have held up for 2 weeks. It's been a bit chilly at night about 48 degrees and it's held up. It rained a bit and so far hooks are holding the lights. I would recommend this product. I'm not sure the ease of taking off the hooks though and if it peels off the paint. I haven't tried. For me, the price was worth it. I didn't use that many hooks so I have plenty more for the next couple of years.

This beats staples since we can’t use them on vinyl siding and fascia. We leave the clips up after we take the lights down for the next holiday season.

We received a box of 100 double clips, but there were only 99 in the box. The box they came in is great for using a few at a time and storing if you don't need all of them at once. They're a little smaller than they seemed in the photos so I added pictures with one with a standard sized chapstick and another with the chapstick and a large size paperclip. We'll be using them to put up our lights this week so I will update after we've used some of the box. I hope the backing comes off easily as there's no tab to help peel it off. They look like they'll blend in well and I'm hoping they hold firm as they're a great idea! They come with instructions on how to apply them and how to remove them as well. The instructions to say they're best for a smooth surface and to clean well with a cloth first. We had planned on doing that regardless as most things stick better to clean surfaces.Thumbs up for including instructions, though, as many companies forget to include any at all.I will update once we've used them on the outside! That's very soon! I hope they go up easily, hold the lights well and last long! If they do, we'll definitely be getting more!

The attachments for Christmas lights we never knew we needed! They worked pretty great at holding up outdoor lights all through the cold season and weather. Since they are clear, we just left them on the house too, which makes hanging lights in the future even easier. 100 for under $20 is very reasonable considering they work well and stay stuck where you stick them to.

Got these to go on our gutters, to hang icicle string lights from. It's winter in Iowa, so we waited for the warmest day we could to install them, but the metal gutter was still cold (south facing, so got some sun that morning) and it was about 50 for air temp. I thought the glue might not work, and might not hold, since that's generally not optimal for such things, but...it held. They all went on, and a month later, after freezing rains, snow and Iowa wind, they are still stuck to the metal, holding up our lights.I've used similar to this on wood in other homes, with good effect as well. These are nice, they work, they stick, and they take winter abuse well enough. I'm happy.

I bought these hooks to hang some string lights on my deck and wanted an easy way to hang them without drilling holes. The double hooks hold the cord tight and so far they have stayed secure even after a cold, rainy weekend. I made sure to clean the area well before installing the hooks, and then I let the adhesive cure overnight before adding the lights. I like how the transparent material blends in well, the hooks are almost invisible from a distance. Definitely worth the purchase. I'm sure I will find many uses for them!

These hooks should be attached on something like vinyl siding and be used somewhere like California or Florida, but barely suitable for painted surfaces or wood in the areas with cold climate. I tried it on gutters - wiped them with isopropyl, then dried with paper towels, but even after that the bond was rather weak. It might be useful for light type of wired lights, but even with that my fear that hooks might be detached due to cold weather - I had some troubles to attach them on gutters then temperature dropped to low 40-s. Will monitor and update my review if hooks with the load I will install will survive the entire holiday season.

This 100 pack of hooks, designed for holding up your outdoor lights, should be enough to do the facades of most homes, or for the patio or garage. They offer tool-free, easy sticking installation and are designed to be weather-resistant. It's a pain to get up on a ladder and install ANYTHING, but at least you won't have to take these down once you've put them up. Holds lights with various sizes of wire very securely. My one quibble is that despite claims of being "no damage," I put one of these up and wanted to move it a little. When I did so, a tiny bit of paint came off. This is probably a direct result of hiring a local moron to do my cheap paint job, but still... be aware and take them off gently if you need to.

Bought these to hang our new outdoor Christmas lights.Easy to apply and even during poor weather conditions, they held really well. Strong bonding as long as you ensure that the area you will stick these on is clear from any grease or dirt.Excellent value for money and highly recommend

I have always used little micro hooks outside to hang my Christmas lights - but was delighted to use these much bigger and easier to see hooks. The adhesive pad it strong and adhered well to upvc surfaces, and actually even some external brick work outside too! They are discreet enough that I wouldn't be too worried about leaving them up all year long ready for putting up lights next year with ease.I have also used these hooks inside underneath my wall banister to hang up a Christmas garland too- and they are still in place and the garland hanging well. There were plenty of hook as a pack of 50 and very easy to use, and have done the job well.
