We usually get these from the big box stores in smaller quantities. These are comparable quality but you get much more quantity which is great for bigger projects.

These worked really well to secure some no-dig landscape border that I installed. Having read reviews I wanted a bunch of stakes so I could use them ever six inches or so. I waited until we had had a few days of good rain and the soil was softened up. Many I was able to push in half way or more with my hand and all of them went in easily with a little help from a rubber mallet. If you were trying to put these in rock hard ground, I could imagine them having some problems, as some have described. For me, they were perfect.

Got 200 and around 50 of them broke, there cheap in cost, so they got two stars instead of one

These landscape edging stakes worked great for my project. I used them to secure a no-dig border, and they were easy to install, most of them went in smoothly with just a rubber mallet. I made sure the soil was softened by rain, which helped a lot. For light use, like securing garden borders, they’re perfect. However, I can see them having trouble in hard or rocky soil, as some others mentioned they broke under those conditions. The quality isn’t the best, and some stakes may snap, but for the price, they’re a solid option for lighter tasks.
