I got these because I was using aluminum version from a different manufacturer and I was constantly stripping the inner threads when I was setting the rivet nut. So this version worked much better, more solid feel and did not striped the threads I was using these on my PVC fencing to secure the PVC fence hinges and gate brackets instead of screws into the hollow PVC fencing post. Works great.

I bought a bus and converted it. So of course, I decided to go over the top and build shelves over top of my kitchen tops. Here is the result ! I put the rivet nuts on the ceiling and wire cables and it s holding all the junk I want ! They are very strong . I have been on many trips already, on road that are really bumpy too and they didn’t fall.Ps : you need to buy to tool too to put them on.

These are very good Rivet Nuts a long as you use a good quality gun to install them. I used them to replace some standard rivets on my SxS chassis to make it easier to remove the skid plates. They where easy to install as I used a Pnuematic gun. The bolts I have threaded in without any issue. They performed as expected so I give them 4 stars.

These are strong and exact fitting. Use them for thin gauge metal when you want a solid connection and metal screws just don't quite do the job. Replace those worn or stripped license plate nuts in your trunk lid, make great ground connections on your truck or car frame / underbody panels, many great uses for these.
