For context, I have no experience sewing, stitching, or upholstering. These nifty "buttons" stay in place, and you don't necessarily need to stitch. They are holding up on my sofa I "reupholstered" and I am not easy on my couch.

They do hold fabric down mostly. However they tend to get caught on other items when passing by ie clothing, my hands etc and get pulled out or loosened

These pins were exactly what I've been liking for. I remember using these same kind of pins or screws from many years ago. The arm covers on my husband's recliner were continually coming off, but the pins have kept them in place. Thank you.

pins are easy to twist and secure covers to plush upholstered furniture. Must be installed over at least 1/2"padded fabric or they will not "screw" into the padding. Work very well on my recliner.

I like it. It helps keep the bed skirt in place. And it is easy to use and put in and the package it came in was a great choice.
