The good news is that these were fairly easy to put on my dishwasher tines, even the ones that were already beginning to rust. I used a pair of pliers around the ends of any times that were rough and that removed any flaking or roughness. Most of these covers slid right on, but I did find a spritz of cooking oil helped along any that were stubborn. The color fit fair enough, although I wasn’t too concerned with it matching the racks exactly. They’re fairly thick and of good quality. Along with what some other reviewers have mentioned, there aren’t enough in the package to do all your times, so order two packs.

They fit in my dishwasher, they haven't disintegrated or degraded in any way yet, and they prevent my dishes from getting marked up by rust. Simple to install and they look decent, glad I went with grey. I'm the end this is just a stop gap, but I'm renting so what else am I going to do? Highly recommend.

These things are great and installed very easily on our Whirlpool dishwasher. Some of the upright prongs on our dishwasher rack were very damaged and rusty. These took a little extra effort, but they were also not a big deal. I think silicon is definitely the way to go over other dishwasher materials! The only downside is that there were only 100 of them in the package and we need about 130 of them for our two racks. I will put one on every prongs - even the undamaged ones. I am ordering a second package today!

Was concerned after reading several reviews about these nipples for dishwasher racks... but product received promptly after order, inserted on the dishwasher rack tines (snug fit but fairly easy to do on our dishwasher - Jenn-Air) and remained on the tines thus far after multiple wash cycles.

These fit and match my Whirlpool rack perfectly. I measured the tines of my racks before ordering and the inner dimension of these tips were a match. Nice quality too. They were more expensive than some of the others but I feel they were worth it.

The dishwasher rack in my new home has a lot of rust on it and I don’t want my dishes to get stained or scratched. I had no idea this type of product existed - I thought I’d have to buy the brush-on stuff. These caps are great! They slide right onto the prongs if they aren’t too deformed by the rust. When the prongs have enough rust to be misshapen, just gently twist the cap while pushing down. So far, they have stayed securely in place during normal wash and dry cycles.

I really like these caps as they go on easily and fit tight. Also like they are silicone and not plastic. However there are not enough in a package to complete the racks in an average dishwasher, unless it's a compact instead of full size. I needed about 20 mo5re to complete the project but would have to buy another package at $15 plus tax and I can get the dishwasher rack replacement for about the price of two of these packs. So, while a good idea and good fit, it turns out to be a pricey venture.

These fit well on our 6 year old Whirlpool dishwasher racks. A bit fiddly where there was significant rusting, had to use pliers to squeeze down where the metal had expanded and then blunt the ends. The caps fit tightly, you have to kind of wiggle and twist them on, but they stay on, and seem like good quality. And a darn sight less money than replacing the racks!
