I love this glue gun. I own several since they normally don't last long and the cords are always getting burned or messed up some how.I gave up on corded glue guns and bought a VERY expensive one that is "cordless", but really it just heats when it's on the stand, then stops heating when you take it off the stand. You can use it for a short period of time before you have to put it back on the stand to heat back up.I will NEVER buy a corded glue gun again or one that only heats when it's on the stand.I LOVE THIS CORDLESS GLUE GUN!I wish I saw this before I bought all those other guns.This one heats up super fast, lasts a LONG time and never has to reheat mid use. It's always nice and hot. It has a very powerful battery with charge indicator. And it's easy to turn on and off whenever I need it. I love how it stands up and doesn't tip over. The base where the battery is where all the weight is, so it stands up and is very stable. I don't have to worry about burning my hand or my table or anything like that. It's also stays where you put it.It comes with a lot of high quality glue sticks and it's the larger size so I'm not messing with those thin glue sticks that you burn through too fast and are always having to change.And it looks great!I HIGHLY recommend this product. Best one I have EVER purchased!!!

I generally only buy genuine DeWalt tools, but since they don't have a hot glue gun, I decided to roll the dice with this one. I have been very happy with the performance of this gun. It does take a while longer then my corded one to heat up, but if you give it 3 or 4 minutes, the glue flows perfectly.It does go through batteries fast, as expected, so ideally you want several batteries, or just use this for occasional jobs. I get about 30-40 minutes with a 6AH battery.

Worked great at first, then after a few weeks it was taking a long time to heat up and now it won't hold a charge at all. Less than 2 months and it's dead. I used it maybe a total of 3 or 4 hours total.

This is a truly handy tool. It works with standard glue sticks indoors and outdoors. It warms up quickly and puts the glue where you need it. You can get multiple glue sticks through this on a single charge. There is one requirement that needs to be added, an auto kill switch if there is no hand grip contact after 5 minutes. I left my glue gun in the on position over night. It killed a large ($89.00) Dewalt battery that would not recover after the total drain. Remember to turn this off!

Works way better than those hobby glue guns, and they make this for various common tools battery pack. I opted for the Dewalt and paired it with as 2maH battery. Gun heats up quick, but and I get about 30 minutes of the runtime. If you have the smaller glue sticks, it may be challenging as this works best with the longer glue sticks. With all glue gun, this product will drip a little once you release the trigger.

First the good:Its a glue gun.It heats a glue stick - they give you some (they're GREAT)Built well. Solid.Nice color scheme (Like DeWalt)Uses DeWalt Batteries - if you already have some.Stays on a long timeThe bad:Takes a long time to heat up.I have used other glue guns that have built in batteries that heat faster .That's it.This unit using a 20v battery should heat up much faster than it does. Overall, it does work and it does take a DeWalt 20v battery so it is compatible with my other tools so I will use it a lot and will alternate between my other glue gun but it is worth it if you have time for the gun to heat up. the overall design is good and the material is quality. I am concerned about breaking the trigger before the glue is hot. It takes quite a while and you still have to force it through.

I recently purchased the Cordless Hot Glue Gun for DeWalt 20v batteries and am delighted with it. I love that I can use it with the many DeWalt 20v I have. Using this gun with the batteries, allows me to use a glue gun without worrying about a cord and outlet. I have used the gun on several projects and have not run into any issues. Im astonished but how cool is to work with this hot glue gun.This is my first time working with a wireless hot glue gun and I can tell it is so much earlier.I used to fix some wood and silver decorations and im greatly surprised on the facts you do not need to worries for extension cords or keep taking cord out of the way. It is also great on this hot glue gun the precision at the time to work letting you handle the job better. I was gluing together small pieces and did not get any spill or more glue than desired. Also while resting it did not leak a single drop.Now im afraid to lose my power tools batteries and brand new hot glue gun over my wife because she saw how good this one works and say she will be using it over hers.
