So i live in an RV near an xfinity wifi hotspot. My PC had the stock antennas hooked to the motherboard and i could barely download anything (1mb/s, and network disconnecting entirely often). so i upgrade to an antenna that has a long wire and i can put that outside the rv. problem is it was better, but only slightly. So i ended up rolling the 10 dollar dice on these before i got working on a directional antenna on the roof of the rv, which would have cost a significant amount more than 10, so i figured give it a shot. These gave me over 10x gains compared to the previous. My download speeds jumped from a measly 1-2mb/s and often disconnecting to 20-30mb/s and no disconnects. These antennas are actually a massive upgrade for me. All i can say is roll the dice on them because getting a good wifi signal for 10 dollars is as good as i can imagine it can get for me.

Without disclosing my background, I feel more than qualified to write a review for these. That being said...They work. Very well. The router I placed these on needed six of them. The stock ones broke, and I decided to take a chance on upgrading, instead of just replacing.Of the places in my home that were dead spots, usually behind a thick wall or metal, about 80% now have a signal, and in most cases, a pretty good signal at that. They're not magic, and they're not perfect. They do feel like they're magic though 🙂The signal also went much further. Almost double. I would estimate 25 yards minimum. However, for security reasons I would not recommend these for everybody, as you would not want to overbroadcast. For me, it's practically a necessity. If you have ever bought aftermarket antennas for a router, then you probably know it's 50/50 if they work at all, let alone work better than the OEM.We considered a range extender, but have had mixed results for various reasons. We considered a mesh network, but didn't really see the point in buying a new router, especially when Wi-Fi 7 is about to drop. The router was fine, the antennas were broke. The cheapest first step was to replace them with OEM, but decided to roll the dice and go for these as an upgrade instead. The bet paid off. These were everything I dared not hope for. I would definitely look here first in the future. I don't know if they'd work with all/your routers, or if I got all the luck, but they were a nice tight fit, I'd say even better than OEM. They don't flop around despite their size, and while I didn't open one up, it seems like they're legit and durable. In short, if Chuck Norris needed replacement antennas for his router, these are probably the ones I would recommend 🙂

Changed out the factory antenna with this one and was able to connect right away used while driving once in awhile would lose signal but only for a second or two and it would reconnect

Night and day Difference with the WiFi antennas. Be warned they are HUGE. They improved the connection from 2 bars to 4 bars and nearly 200mbps more, so fast connection now. Genuinely worth the money. Sure it’s not a brand, but we aren’t paying for the brand we are paying for the functionality. And that functionality is all there. It was so simple to install to my computer just make sure it’s the correct port.

Makes online games near unplayable, as 16% of wifi packets are lost on average. No major difference in speeds or latency compared to a standard 5.5 inch antenna. The fact is: making an antenna bigger doesn't necessarily make it better, unless you're supplying more power to it. This product is poor quality and, in my opinion, useless. Just use your motherboards pack-in antennas. A smaller antenna makes for a better connection anyways, per square cube law. I found these antennas lost connection constantly, despite not being too far from the router.

Connected these to my Asus RT-AX86U to try and improve the signal to my back bedroom. Honestly, I see very little to no difference with these antennas. On top of that they are giant. If you need replacement antennas or if your current antennas are the really small old style antennas, this may make a tremendous difference. But upgrading from the stock antennas on a fairly recent wifi router, I saw little to no difference. These are going back.

Here I write, some ~140ft from my house, through a garage door, and I'm getting -55db signal strength at peak, -57 average. That's astounding. Other "High gain" antennas straight up cannot compete with these.Make sure you buy shielded cables with the correct connectors. I ran a 3 foot for minimum losses, but whatever you do, the longer the cable and the worse the shielding? Huge L's will be taken. These antennas are straight up amazing. My "12db" yagis got outperformed, the highest rated antennas on amazon which I've been trying of various rated signal strengths are straight up no match for these absolute monsters. They look like drumsticks, and they slap like them. I have stronger wifi in my garage than many have literally in their house now.Bonus points if your router can get antennas replaced too; my can't but this still was a massive upgrade.Anyway, from a technical perspective, I went from ~-72db (Lower is better) to a -55db signal by swapping between unshielded 6 foot cables on a 7db antenna and these with shielded cables.Straight up, can't find better for under about $150.

Replaced the antenna of the existing router and used networking for usb. It is clear that the signal distance have been extended, and it is felt that the network environment has improved.
