We have our RV set up in our backyard as a guest house because we don't have enough room in our own house for company. We do NOT, however, have a full septic hookup in place because we just don't have the money for that project right now. In the meantime, we bought one of those portable tanks to empty out gray/black water tanks after guests leave. So, here's what we found: the hose that came with our RV was long enough, but didn't have the right connector on the end to hook up to the tank. The hose that came with the tank had the right connectors, but was too short to get a good enough gravity pull. Our property is a big ol' hill, so the RV is very close to the ground at the back where the tanks are and stretched as high up as the jacks would allow at the front in order to level it, which means we have to get the tank pretty far away from the tank ports to get gravity to work for us. This hose ABSOLUTELY filled the need. No more trying to just "hold" the hose in the port on the portable tank while it filled (a singularly disgusting job). Also, this hose is kinda more bendable/moldable than most I've worked with. If you stretch it out and bend it, it will stay that way, if you catch my drift. Tried to show that in one of the pictures. Less like a slinky and more like one of those flexible pop-tube toys things.

This is not a bad hose but it appears to be light duty. From experience these only last a year before the UV rays kill them. I will do a follow-up review in a year and see what happens!

A hose is a hose right???? Wrong. This hose has a couple of things going for it.There was one instance in my past where I was almost certain a neighboring RV camper literally stole my waste hose but I couldn't prove it. This hose has a unique look so I feel like that's a plus.I've had someone step on my hose and afterward the support wires were misshapen and couldn't be collapsed leaving about 6 inches permanently extended. The supports in this hose felt extra springy, so I gambled and deliberately pressed both sides together in my hands. The sprung right back. It was awesome. The bayonet fittings extend farther into the hose section than on other hoses I've had which makes me think that connection point is more durable as well. Some hoses don't come with end caps, this does, and those are a must for me so another plus.

If you're new to RV's then the best advice I can give you is don't skimp on your dump hose because you're destined to be one very sad camper when it fails at the dump station, just ask Robin Williams LOLWith that said we've owned RV's for over 40 years and over that time have gone through our fair share of very expensive name brand dump hoses. Primarily because we wanted to avoid the famous "poop geyser" LOLAnyhow this is a very high quality hose, I'd say it's right up there with the famed that rhino flex.. The couplers seem to be very high quality and we had no issues with any leaking or dripping, the hose itself is a semi accordion type hose that collapses to a very convenient length for storage just like the rhino flex does.It also came with coupler covers which worked well.I'm definitely giving this 5 stars.

I ordered this product as a backup to my existing sewer hose currently in use with my motorhome. This is a heavy-duty sewer hose typically used to connect RV's to public sewers. The materials and wall thickness rival those in popular name brands. In fact, I believe that this product looks stronger than a current name brand product in use.The hose comes with two end caps if you need to store it away in the bumper container on a travel trailer or if you are simply storing in a specialized bag in the hold of your motorhome to prevent potential leakage.I am confident that this hose will be a great replacement for my current one.

I'm very impressed with this Outprize RV sewer hose, and it's attachments! Compared to my old standard RV hose, this one is unique in that it actually compresses down to ~4', and extends up to ~10'. That makes it easy to stow after use, and it's very lightweight. I also love the sturdy bayonet fittings, that all have tabs or handles to make fastening them easy, and the caps are perfect for storage, to keep things dry.I prefer keep my sewer hose coiled up in a container in my sewer compartment, instead of inside the bumper, and when compressed this one takes up less room, even though overall it's about the same length as my old one. However, it does fit in my rear bumper, even with the caps on. The red elbow in one of my pictures does not come with the product, that's just to show this hose does have standard bayonet fittings.A fantastic product at an excellent asking price in my opinion, only around $30 when I ordered it. âââââ

The best thing I love about this extension set are the caps...I love that both ends can be capped off. The quality of the tube is excellent, and it's much sturdier than the "slinky" style of sewer tube. The connections work great. Yes, I would recommend this sewer extension set, with a 5-Star rating for a quality product.
