This is made with a robust 10 gauge wire that is good to 30 amps, and as such can serve other functions other than being an extension for a charger. We cut this in half, and use each end to create an excellent plug-in point both on the machine and the battery for a 12 volt power wheels toy. This avoids having to get the costly factory batteries and allows us to use an equally robust sealed battery on the toy. And then, it plugs directly into a standard 2 wire 2-amp trickle charger. Have hours and hours on this setup, and so we will probably buy more in the future!

This cable is well made…it has a soft plastic insulation that is very pliable even in the cold…One end of this cable is wired opposite to the other side but this is for using it with a battery charger on one end (connects to the battery charger) and the other end is wired at the connector opposite polarity but this is done purely for the usage of a cable connect (not included) to the battery with a connect cable that actually connects perfectly with the opposite polarity side…This cable did include a plug to connect to the end that will reverse the opposite polarity and make the cable identical at both ends.This cable is well made and I highly recommend it however I ordered the longest cable they offered and wish it was longer…I would recommend this cable…I would have bought a 15’ if they had it…ðŸ™

As advertised, actually was better quality than accepted, the wires had a good thick insulator on them and was very soft and flexible even in cold weather.I used these as extensions for my trickle charger.After receiving the first one, I ordered I ordered 2 more.

The insulation on the wires is soft and flexible yet still thick enough to protect. I cut the plug off one end to connect to my trolling motor and I can confirm the wire is 10 ga.
