This is a good 10G cable, it works as expected. I wish the seller would have sent it with some protective caps on each end, that would have been a nice touch. The DAC cable is reminiscent of how fiber looks so I feel like I can’t stretch or strain the cable. So it gives off a fragile feeling to me. Good product, would buy from 10Gtek again.

I have this cable hooked up to a MikroTik CRS305-1G and a CRS310-8G and it is working great. Much cheaper than buying the SFP+ and cable separately. I only tried with 10Gb to 10Gb.

Used to chain my Mokerlink 2.5g switches together. Took a while to arrive, but was very happy with the result. Two 8 port 2.5g switches with this cable on their 10g port was cheaper than a 16 port switch.

generally, I would think the "cable" portion would have been 0.25m - not total length.
