So far we are enjoying the weather station. It was easy to put together and attach to our fence. It hasn't rained so we haven't tested that function but rain is expected this week. I recommend if you are ordering this product and don't have AA rechargeable batteries that you order them at the same time. The display is easy to read. The instructions for setting up the display were easy to understand. I highly recommend this weather station.UPDATE: It rained and the rain guage works great. We are very happy with this weather station.

Gevanti 10-in-1 Weather Station is an excellent product that not only shows indoor and outdoor temperatures, but also wind speed and directions, amount of rain, and many other features. It is easy to install and has an excellent range of communication. Highly recommend this weather station.

We just received this weather station. So far we are pleased with it. Set up was easy, the screen is bright and easy to read. It looks to be accurate. We have not had any rain yet to know if the rain gauge works accurately. We think that it is a good value for the money.

My total installation from unboxing to final setup was about 15 minutes. After installing batteries in the remote and fixing it to a fence post and plugging in the main console, the entire unit came to life and showed indoor and outdoor temperature, wind speed and direction, rain measurements, barometric pressure, and the usual sky pictures of clouds or sun.I waited another day to fix the date and time and to install AAA back up batteries. Setting the date and time took a while until I figured out the manual and how to use the right buttons. The battery backup place was hard to figure out. It is a little section in the middle that you just pinch it off to remove. Then you insert batteries to the left and to the right and then in the middle. The manual didn't say much about it. I was trying to use micro screw drivers to unscrew where there were holes. I was trying to do many things until I found the simple section in the middle. It is just above the bottom of the entire unit, just above the console stand that moves up and down to give different angles. Oh, another thing. I originally could only open that stand up to where it pointed at about 60 degrees. While I was working on the battery situation, I tried opening it up further, and sure enough, it opens to about almost 90 degrees for setting on a window counter where mine is. You just have to give it an extra nudge to get it to open all the way. My first attempts failed, and I didn't want to break the thing. But trying it again worked fine. The swivel stand should open all the way up with some simple pressure.I bought this unit after my Accurite weather station lost it's outside sensor readings. I believe that my Accurite is still good, but I can't find my outside sensor, which probably only needs new batteries. I've had this Accurite for several years now, and it has been great. However, this new Gevanti weather station is just as good and even better. I could have gotten another Accurite for half the price, but I wanted wind and rain measurements. It is important to point the sensor in the correct direction during installation. I got my compass out and figured out the south direction and installed it on the fence post exactly where the compass said south was. So far, it has been working perfectly. Our wind here started at about 2.9 mi/hr and increased to about 11 mi/hr. I go outside, and it seems about right.I have yet to report on the rain gauge. There is no rain here right now and none expected for a week or so.What a great product! I'm glad that I bought it.Update 12-21-2024We finally got rain here, and the rain gauge was only showing about .04 inches, and I know that it was at least 0.5 or 1.0 inches.I had to break out the manual to see what was going wrong, and sure enough, it says to click the rain cup back and forth a few times to activate it. Kind of weird, but there you go. I took it off the pole and brought it into the carport to try it all out while reading the manual. I clicked the cup back and forth about a thousand times to make sure, and I poured water into it to see what kind of measurement it recorded. My wife poured the water in, and I went inside to see what the measurement was. I was at least more than before. I got about 0.3 inches at one point, which was higher than it had ever gone.A few days later, we had a light rain for a couple of hours, and it showed about 0.12 inches, which was probably about right. The same rain a few days earlier had only shown about 0.02 inches at the most. So, you need to click that rain cup a few times to activate it.After several weeks, this unit is still operating magnificently. I counted 11 separate measuring devices on this machine, if you include the icon picture of the sun and clouds and rain. It has indoor and outdoor temperature, indoor and outdoor humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed, wind direction, rain gauge, time, date, and icon picture. (Oh, you can also add 2 more measurements. It shows the outdoor "feels like" temperature and the moon phase. So that brings it to 13 separate measurements.) When I finally started reading the user manual, I found that you can set alarms and do much more with this unit. Maybe later. It's doing a good job for now.

This review is for the Gevanti Weather Station Wireless Indoor Outdoor with 9-in-1 Sensor & LCD Display. I bought this during the 2024 Black Friday sale on Amazon. The model they are selling now says it’s a 10 sensor unit, so I’m not sure how much of this applies to the new version. The weather station is simple and straightforward to setup. Read the directions to make it easy on yourself. I thought they were very clear. The first step is to put batteries in the sensor unit (the unit that goes outside). I used 3 Energizer Lithium AA batteries like the directions suggest because they have an expected life of two years in the unit. The second step is to keep the sensor unit near the LCD display and put 3 AAA alkaline batteries in the display unit and plug the display unit in with power supply. The batteries are for saving the setup if you unplug the unit, not for powering the display. The display unit should show all the sensors registering the various measurements. Since you’ve got the sensor unit near the display unit, the temperatures should match (or be close). You can spin the wind meter with a fan and see it register speed and direction. The humidity sensor inside and outside should match as well. If all these are working, you’re good to go for installing the sensor unit outside. As a note, I think the LCD display is bright with good color, but if you use the built-in kick-stand, you have to be above the display to see it clearly. We ending up putting it on a small display stand (see picture) and it’s easily visible anywhere in the room.As for installing the sensor unit outside, it took a couple of days to pick a spot that offered a) an unobstructed view of the prevailing winds and other vegetation, and b) something I could reach to do the installation and change the batteries when needed. We live in the desert Southwest and our strongest winds come from the west, so we decided to mount it in the corner of a patio cover outside the west-most part of the house (see picture). I can reach it with a ladder. I used a length of ¾†EMT steel conduit pip mounted to the side of the patio structure, drilling two holes through the conduit for mounting so the conduit pipe and sensor unit wouldn’t twist. It’s important to mount the sensor so the solar panel on the back of it is facing south. I used a compass app on my fine to get as close as I could. The station comes with all the mounting hardware necessary and offers different options for mounting. I chose the vertical mount. We’ll have to see how well it does in our insanely high spring winds here, but that’ s why we wanted it. This unit doesn’t offer an app to use on your smartphone, or any other way to record history, but for the money, I think this is a solid unit and will meet our needs.

We really like this. Only used it for a week or so but definitely exceeded our expectations. Recommend!

A good product, a bit complicated to set up however. Easy to read displays. Works well. The directions that come with are a little complicated, but eventually we figured out the set up. Read the instructions repeatedly as you go through the process would be my suggestion. Remember to calibrate your device to ensure proper rainfall tracking. After we did, the device seems to work very well. Location matters as well for better wind direction collection. We elevated our above the roof line of our house and that also improved.
